What a voice Lexie! I know you call this "rough" but I'm acoustic at heart, and well....to me sometimes less is so much more. With the voice that you own, this song flies with just you and that guitar.
Great songwriting, love the lyrics...today was a bad day for me, and I've listened to quite a few songs on here tonite, but this song really hits me tonite....I want to be able to feel..."It Don't Bother Me"...because I "am" the one standing tall after all that has happened....now I just need to get over the anguish and hurt of it all. Maybe if I listen to your song enough I'll believe it and I'll get there!

your voice sounds soulful, haunting and sultry on this performance. i like the guitar solos, and the added drums which bring an added dimension to this piece. overall, it's a tender song... yet very powerful at the same time. definitely one of my favorite performances that i've heard here on Soundclick. what a wonderful tune!!!
