I see here on your page you describe yourself as a "piano novice"...and all I want to say is everyone is a piano novice at one time or another,,,the best guys always think they're still novices...because as soon as ya start thinking you know everything...it's over, really!
The truth is...we all have to start at the beginning...and build from there.
I listened to your "Gumbo"...and man, I hear so many thing you do that I did when I had only been playing for a little while...I'd say you're doing great...just keep on playing...and it'll come to you...a piece at a time. The key is to have fun with it...because then you'll play more...not less...and that's when we learn faster! Nice to have met you! Keep playing...yo got it!
