Hi John,
Have been checking out the new stuff here and every time again I am surprised about the diversity of your music. Love every single note of it. Love the way you blend styles all together and after having heared that 'Classic" tune look forward to collaborating on acoustic material as well. Let's stay in touch and start working on a way to finally meet in person and play our asses of.
Love and happiness from your good friend (now) in New Zealand. May the sun shine on your path.

This music has an unusual variety, going from one end of the musical spectrum to the other!. Interesting use of genre fusions that conjure up sometimes uncomfortable sensations, and sometimes beautiful melodies as in 'Angel' and 'Classic'.This is'nt an album for those who like a comfortable 'niche' and exclude all other styles that lie outside of their 'comfort zone'.It is an album that paints with the color of sound itself, and having listened to the album (yes I got myself a copy)many times I have to say that to listen to bits and pieces does'nt do it justice.State of Man takes you on a journey of the senses. one which will take you to heaven and hell and somewgere in-between. It deserves to be listened to as a complete piece. And at around 74 minutes thats quite a feat. But State Of Man grows on you, and because there is nothing quite like it(stylistcally)it is unique and unusual. Some reviewers have liked it others have hated it.But the point is it was created to move the emotions, which may be equated to feelings of discomfort, or elation(as with 'Angel' etc).I think from an experimental point of view it cannot be measured easily, because there is nothing to measure it against.I like it personally because it pushes the boudaries of 'exceptible' and it was created purely as an artistic statement. Many visual artists, such as Van Gogh painted pictures of unpleasant things, (cutting his ear off)and during their lifetime sold very little(Van gogh sold very little, exept to his brother who bought it to encourage without inderstanding the motivation behind it's inseption). So too, with 'State Of Man", this funny, sometimes cruel, painful, joyous celebration of the human state is an interesting, and valuble musical statement that highlights some relevant issues, especially in light of the conflicy and fear that prevails in our world today.
