Nice Christmas gift: my "googleInvert" EP was the best selling download on Soundclick!

Discovered a couple websites that feature bands from the 80s and 90s in Northeast Ohio...my band Tent Sleeps 4 is one of the featured groups, along with X, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Trent Reznor/NIN, Black Flag, Shockabilly, The Dickies, Howard Devoto, Devo, Chrissie Hynde, The Numbers Band, Johnny and the Clampettes, Suicidal Tendencies, and lots more.

Came across a couple websites devoted to bands from Northeast Ohio on MySpace and Facebook including yours truly and my band Tent Sleeps 4.

Sad to hear about legendary songwriter Ellie Greenwich's unexpected passing. She's left us way too soon. So many of the songs she co-wrote and sang have meant a lot to me through my life. Ellie always took time to write and give encouragement...not just to me, but to many, many other songwriters. The world has lost one of its greatest pop songwriters, and one of the nicest persons in the business.

HATEFUL POSES - 14th Straight #1 single

The latest single went to #1 Alt/Shoegaze. Thank you to all you who keep the dream the alive.

Had a few fans asking about the B tracks being released on the "Hateful Poses" single...

The two previously unreleased tracks are 'area sets' based on various elements of "Hateful Poses". They are mostly soundscapes with vocal treatments. The three tracks together form the 'area-set', a musical compositional form I created based on the sonata form, exposition, development and recap, using sound sculputure, time, and aural space as thematic motifs.


The titles of the two previously unreleased additonal tracks are "Hatful of Posies" and "Half Supposes".


The three tracks will be released on April 14th exclusively on Soundclick
