Would you believe I once played this every week for a guy doing a balloon modelling act? Quite bizarre really playing Liszt while balloon spiders, monkeys and bouquets of flowers being made!

Excellent Stephen. You really feed off a live audience.

Dear Stephen,
I assume you are quite young. Yet at this age you can interpret Chopin so perfectly in Nocturne no. 1 !! Welcome to Beijing some day!!!

You have really nice choices in piano rep. I liked your renditions, very expressive, very fun. You're adorable!

I play Tschaikovsky's "June" as it was transcribed by Herman Clebanoff in orchestra during my 7th grade year and it has taken me almost over 5 years to find a version of this on the piano. I don't know why, but it did. Thanks. You play wonderfully. <3

Brilliant playing! Love it. hope you can make it over to my site and hear transformations for solo piano. If you'ld like the score, It'd be an honor to have your input- especially the 3rd and the last movement. You could probably sight read it- but it was a beast for me to play.
All my best,
Andy

a lot of musicians hear the expression "don't quit your day job." in your case, i have confidence you will make a handsome living playing the music you love.

Dear Stephen, Sorry to post two messages one after another. First of all thanks for your kind words. I listen to young (youngish) people playing piano on Audiostreet and Soundclick and (this is just my opinion, but at age 56 I shoot from the hip) - I sense a creeping in of boring 'folksy' or 'Titanicky' type pieces played over no more than 4 octaves. I think there are people out there who are selling their wares as composers whilst they still have their milk teeth musically. 60 years ago composers were copying Rachmaninov. Sadly, some of the Film composers they copy these days are not Rachmaninovs!
People like yourself (and a few others - especially on Audiostreet) are a shining exception to this weary simplistic nonsense. I hope you make it to the Concert platform as a high paid artiste. Because (even though I've not been there musically myself), we all know that 95% of a Concert Pianist's work is done out of public view. It's difficult when you see people of far lesser ability making vast amounts of money through music, but will they ever know the feeling of playing a Chopin Polonaise? I think not. Sorry to ramble on.
Tony.
