Hi Lonnie, You DO have some fun with your songs, don't you? I've enjoyed listening! Your voice sometimes reminds me of John Hartford....that's a good thing. Love your lyrics.

Hi Lonnie!
Happy New Year!
Got "So Easy" in my 'phones as I type this. Thoughtful, atmospheric piece: I like it very much. Voted Hot!
Would you do me a favour? One of the songs from my first album 'America, Come Weep' has been accepted on Neil Young's 'Living With War' site, but it's one of over 1000. I'd be really grateful if you could find the time to go to
http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/lwwsongspage.html
search (Ctrl F) for 'Michel Griffin'
click on the 'America, Come Weep' link
then click on Hi-Fi or Lo-Fi on the page that comes up (from MichelGriffin.com) next to the song, and play it right through.
Many thanks,
Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays Lonnie!
It's certainly been a busy one me and my family. Mostly shopping and parties, but we did have the misfortune of having some rodent die up in the ceiling...created a big stink. I ended up ripping out the closet ceiling, but was unable to locate the source of the smell. I've been so busy it's taken a week just to get the ceiling up, now I have to mudd the joints and hopefully seal in the smell.
I was forntunate to squeeze in a concert yesterday. I got to see Bob Seger...Great show!
Another week of parties and I should be able to get crackin on your demo:-)
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Rich

Hey Lonnie...great surname by the way....how glad am I that you brought your music to my attention? Well I stopped by to listen to one and got caught up listeing to top three on the list (will come back for more, no worry)
Rockin Santa is very modern lyrically and has the most unusual vocal I've ever heard on a Christmas song!!! Gonna add it to my Christams station.
Today's Tomorrow is reallly lovely...great lyirc which reminds me of the type of lyric I write and vocal is reminiscent of the great Jake Thackeray. Love it!!
Dance with me is wonderful...you used that waltz beat so well!!! Excellent phrasing throughout and the only hiccup for me was that the intro does not join seamlessly...although outro certainly does. In fact I felt that intro belonged to a different song altogether...it's perfect on its own tho.
Really enjoyed my visit. And I see we share some of same friends

Nice to hear from you . I hope everything is going good....Still I say, Will it make a difference is number one pcik to me.. Just Because is a close second though. Sounded like a lat 60's song to me. Possibly the Searchers I believe.
Dollar Bill,,,, fun song!! Great to hear from you... Good luck!!
