I used a Cant buy me love guitar preset and I totally remixed it last night with OZONE. I think it makes a big difference. I agreed I did not like the harsh guitar. I tried using a cleaner sound and then the stops between the lead playing was too great because of no dirt pushing the notes closer together. But I did rerecord it with a little less harsh tone using that cant buy me love preset.
Check out Ive Done ALright as far as the bass line working. It is up on my page now.

The Master sounds better. Upload this over top of the 1st one on your page and delete this one. After all it is hardly a metal cover song.

Where is Castleberry bay?? Sounding very good. Where did you get the ocean waves? Also you had some real delicate crashes. Did you want the strings for where you have the guitar alternate picking? Summer is almost over about time you got something up.
Hey where have you been. I call and the number is disconnected and I get a new number and noone answers.

Dont know if you knew Harry Walter the bass player with Gabe and Ken. He died two weeks ago and they had a big tribute for him yesterday at the coaches corner.

I went down for awhile and then met Tara to watch US Soundtheater and then we went back down and Ken O was still there. Gabe was LONG GONE. He stayed for one beer and complained about that and it was too loud for him.

Hi,Jim! How are you,man??
If of free time,-come over to check the latest Erik's songs. He's up for his second CD,-these two songs will conclude his CD.
Peace!
Mr Jim,
Listening to the Raspberries CD's I got in my car now , wow forgot how some of those songs brought back memories , I got all teary eyed ,for my youth ..sniff sniff.. I am going to have to get Scott to answer me he drops of the planet a lot it is that easy Santa Barbara lifestyle ....
I remember he said of " Baby I can hardly believe you're mine " that he would give Eric a chorus and Eric would do the verses or the other way around like on " Cry "
I have this cassete that I want you and Tony to hear
it is the last song , It was a mix tap of Raspberrie covers and Scotts solo stuff an old tape only one I have ...
The very last song os " On the beach " Kyle Vincent and Scott on bass amazing cover ...

Hey,Jimbo!
That's correct a little May Pang-massage were used there (without written consent of the customer,however...I must confess..LOL!)
Listened to all of your covers,-some are familiar to me,others not.But all of them have a sheen of incredibly original and memorable songs. You perform them expertly, guitar sounds very pleasant.Candy to my ears.Is this your Martin ??
Hey Jim,
The new covers are sounding great. Nothing beats an acoustic and vocals. You need to get these captured on video and put on youtube so Tony and I can learn them.

No Ganga here just nostalgia flashbacks ......
Hey Jim,
Leader of the Band, Fire and Rain and April are excellent. Next year need to come to Max Fest in Ephrata...or even NazFest in august...all you need is a Martin to get in...the prewar 1944 d-28 was amazing along with the D42 amazon rosewood guitar...

oh I love this Mac and all the stuff with it built in..It just works...and the popping I think is the compressor..I heard that too but didn't mess with it..

Tony did a perfect take on the Oz song and it sounded great in the control room... now if he could only find his $20...lost in his pocket I think..
Jim,
" let it Be " the version I was talking about was on the original Album it was a sharp Distorted guitar solo , which some people told me was John lennon , some told me it was some Phil Spector brought in . .. later on when the years passed the original " burberbly " solo played by George was what you heard on the radio and Reprints .
It was a shock to me because I had gotten so used to the sharper dist guit solo , I kind of missed it , being a part of my childhood , stuck in my conscieness........
I should haved asked Scott since he he had some contact with John Lennon back in NewYork at the Record Plant .
oh well
cheers
