Lynn:
Just Down The Road From Babylon is a very interesting piece of music. The production here is very good. Definitley not something you'll hear in the mainstream. THis one certainly caught my attention and held it right down to the end. The ending was superbly done. The mid east feel works well and really gets the listener feeling as if he is indeed walking on a road to Babylon. I like this one cos it is full of little surprises, teeny tiny sonic delights weaving their way in the backgrond. I don't know how else to describe them. Unusual piece of music, but very good.

Hey Lynn:
I know that KNOWING WHAT I KNOW is just a demo. Still, it's got potential and not bad for a demo. Reminds me of the kind of stuff you'd hear from ,say, Savoy Brown, John Mayal, Willie Dixon, you know, the raw and gutsy music you don't expect to find nowadays. I hope, in the final production, you keep it as straightforward and "live" in feel as you got it here, in the demo. I love listening to demos, actually, cos that's when you get to hear the 'bare bones', the skeleton, before it gets all dressed up. I too, like yourself, am a producer and engineer...so, I can appreicate that part of a production and the fact that the fate of the final recording is in your hands as much as it is in the hands of the perofmers. So far, in all I have listened to so far, including this nicely done demo, you haven't done anyone an injustice. I hope we will all have an opportunity to hear it when it is finished and mastered, ready to be enjoyed by lovers of music, real music, everywhere.

One more thing...
Concerto for Beatbox & Classical Guitar
wonderful piece of music. Since I am a keyboard player, I'll have to say I love the Hammond sound. Used to have one in the studio, but noww II'm using the softwaree version, Native Instruments B3. Well, it does the trick when you want that calssic sound!
Excellent track. Vote is "HOT"!

Hi Lynn:
Well, imagine finding you over here, on Soundclick, after receiving an email response from you. I've been checking out wobbly music a bit more, and following some of the artist links to some excellent tracks indeed. The production on John Mckeon's album (done by yourself, I understand) is very well done, judging the little bit I've heard so far. I will definitely have to take time out to listen to what you've got here, on your SC page. Since you are here on SC, you must surely be aware of the fact that a lot of us here are like minded. Funny I haven't bumped into you until now. I do a heck of a lot of exploring here and can say, with no hesitation at all, that this is the place to find 80% music and 20% looks...nah, make that 100% music. By the way, I read your artivle on copyirght. Signed the petition. Hope that lets you knowe where I stand.
Take care

Hi Lynn. This is quite a variety of music!
You have a very identifyable style; I like what you do with vocal arrangements (particluarly the near-speaking lines), and the emotion imparted from your songs is unique.
Keep up the good work!
Peace,
Andre

Hi Lynn
I really loved System 16 ! Similar to what I'm doing now (obviously I'm an 80's throwback !). Keep up the good work.

Damn I just listened to all the songs on your page and I see what you mean about the diversity. When I saw that "when your mine" was recorded in 83 I thought the quality would be poor but I love it! Very "cutting crew"...really awesome all around song, with tons of energy a great dance groove. I really like that one. The words for the eastern jazz song really make the song whole. Like I could chill out w/ a glass of wine and listen to that and contemplate. It reminds me of that spoken word stuff that was huge a while back, I think the song was called "a message to the younger generation"...great production on almost all tracks! The rocket dub is really professional sounding. Have you ever considered adding words to that one also? My favorite tho, with "when you mine" at a close second is the peanut vender...reminds me A LOT of Skokian by Louis Armtrong, which is his rendition of an old afrikkan song. You should check it out and I know you'll see what I mean. Anyhow, keep on keepin on Lynn! And no no don't stop a rockin!

Hye Lynn,
I came off rmms and listened to Rocket Dub. God, the memories. I signed up in the early days, but never took part. Anyway, neat jam session going on there.

I keep finding myself coming back to Dreaming, and adding it to my playlists when I'm listening to music.
Once that melody worms it's way under your skin, it gets addictive!
