Well,Dah@link,...what can I tell'ya 'bout Hot Vintage Band.They are not very accustomed (as yet) to play the original songs.. kinda feel more comfy relyin' on old well-known and tried songs.So,it's take time before they'll understand the importance of sayin' something creative and original.But,you know,..this live stuff is such a thrill..I'm just going with da flow without tryin' to turn their heads too much into the other direction...but "one day",you know...one day in a while...

Wow! That is such a tragedy the economy being that way. We have much to be thankful for here. My home has doubled in value since I built it in 1987 and I am a couple of years away from a free and clear title to it. But... the stock market has wiped out my retirement like most folks so we are all waiting to be greeters at Walmart in our old age.
I could tell England was such a neat country with rich history and people seemed friendly which a lot of the Euros dont like Americans I guess as my daughter is running into that already at college and I think her eyes are being opened.

Well if I do get back there and I would not be surprised if I do, I will probably take you up on the tea. I think I could get around the southern part of the country on my own and that is the part I have left to see.

Yes I did notice the prices once you got past the conversion factor where I hand them dollars and my shirt and get back lbs that the prices in Lbs were very comparable to USA prices. I saw some guitars in a shop that I know the online prices and they were right there. Also your minimum wage was what ours used to be. I looked at wages in my field and they were actually much lower than what I would be paid here if lbs and dollars were equal. One of the biggest areas of discrepancy was when I asked the tour guide about home values and saw these little houses selling for over a half million lbs. I thought you have got to be kidding. I could buy something like that in the USA for 60,000 lbs. I did ask the tour guide how do the young people afford it and he said it is a growing problem. He said average wage in Britain was probably 25,000 lbs and he described your Jerry Springer class of people that he referred to as Chavs. They do not want to work and they make more money on the public dole doing nothing and we sure have a lot of that going on now and we used to not be a socialist country like England. But... that is changing by the second. Pretty soon I will be calling the government for a wake up call in the AM. Oh and the best thing about Britain. SAUSAGE!!!! Awesome sausage. I should not eat that stuff but wow I had it everyday there for breakfast. I will not have sausage now for possibly years.

Saw you over at Juris and you are right SC is a ghost town! I just came back from the UK dropping my daughter off at grad school. We took the northern tour up through liverpool, scotland so did not get near Brighton. Looks like you are down south on the ocean.

I dont know how anyone affords to live in the UK. I make a decent living here but over there I could not begin to live in the style I have here.

This song is soooo good Dawn. I'm listening to it on the CD and I remember how absolutely fantastic everything is; the music, Dawn and Ron are brilliant as always, and make a wonderful pair... your lyrics are perfect, as usual! It sounds sooo sweet in my ears..

My computer problems are now fixed and I am back - this time hopefully on a more permanet basis! Have been listening to all your new collabs with Boyana Bjoern. Very impressive both musically and lyrically! Partly another style than usual, I think. You seem to be able to cope with just any style! Your lyric is improving all the time!

I have sent our still pending collab to Burnin Sven. The preliminary plan is that Burnin will do a video recording of the song (with just guitar) and put it up on his You Tube page.
