HOLLYWOOD, CA - November, 2008 - On Thursday, November 20, Killa Kat will storm the stage of Bill's Blues in Evanston, Illinois to show off his trailblazing rap style and magnetic stage presence. Like the swordplay of the Ninja gang often described in his songs, Killa Kat wields his words with skill and clever, unexpected maneuvers.

Killa Kat's music crackles with an originality that strongly distinguishes it from the rap/hip-hop heap. A graphically violent rap will be sprinkled with humorous asides, the rhythm of his words will agilely shift from simple to complex and back again, and suddenly, he'll throw in a quick comedy bit. With Killa Kat, the surprises keep coming, and they don't cease to amaze.

Killa Kat plays the guitar, drums and keyboard. He writes all of his own music, lyrics and beats, and isn't afraid of treading into experimental territory. A fierce individualist, he refuses to conform to any commercialized industry ideas of how his music should sound. And if that means remaining on an indie label, so be it. Would he ever consider signing with a major label? "If they allow me creative freedom and ownership of my music," he states, adding, "Cold day in hell!"

From Chicago, Illinois, Killa Kat began rhyming during school lunches at age 14. By age 17, he had established a reputation as an underground emcee. When he released his CD, "Who Am I?" it was enthusiastically received by the Chicago underground.

A huge Insane Clown Posse fan, Killa Kat reached a major turning point in his career during an emcee competition held at a 2003 Gathering of the Juggalos, a four-day convention for ICP fans. After battling 100 competitors in front of a no B.S. crowd, Killa Kat was proclaimed the winner. In 2004 and 2005, Killa Kat was invited back to perform on the Gathering of the Juggalos main stage. "I have performed in four Midwestern states, and loved every moment," he reflects. "The moment that I remember most was opening up for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to a 5,000-plus crowd at the Gathering of the Juggalos."

Don't miss your chance to catch the Killa Kat phenomenon at Bill's Blues on Thursday, November 20. You can even get advance discount tickets by visiting Killa Kat's MySpace page: www.myspace.com/killakat. See him live, and you'll see what makes him one of a kind.
