Hey Eddie of the UK:
I was thumbing though our upcoming events, us colonist have that 4th of July thing, you know, and I noticed that The Foundations are gonna be a part of the day around here. You know those guys, right? Maybe you could get some contact info from them as well, eh? They seem to show up regularly these days.
BTW: Forgot to mention earlier, when I go through Amazon.con searching for music, I came across Eddie Mooney....and always thought it was just some guy trying to capitalize on Eddie Money's name. I am such a cynic!! Nice to know there's a real Mooney. Later
Hello Eddie and the Dakotas!!

These tracks are great - we had a good bop around to them here. I'll be adding them to my 'Eclectic Excellence' station. Thanks for the note, Eddie - I'm getting a band together and we're hoping to debut at the 'Space Rock Spectacular' in Biscester on 30th Sept. I'd be delighted to come and see the Dakotas - let me know the schedule.
Thanks Eddie et al.
Everybody keeps saying "Oak" sounds Irish. I didn't intend that, but don't mind that it came out that way. I like Irish tunes and I'm Irish on my mother's side.
Here's a thought I had after I typed yesterday's mesg to you...Here in Asheville, NC, we have what is billed as the largest street festival in the Southeastern United States. A three day affair called "Bel Chere" last weekend of July. Lots of bands come in to perform during that time. We had The Fortunes last year, and they were great. Too late for this year, but if you're interested, maybe you could put your hat in the ring for next year. That would be awesome for you guys to come visit NC again. Just a thought. Holler at me if you want help with contacts. My calls would be local smile :) And thanks for the heads up on the other web site.

Well, I am totally amazed to find you guys here. When I first saw "The Dakotas" pop up on the "latest uploads" page, I thought someone had just stolen your name, but I stopped by anyway...on the off chance. And it really is you guys. Cool. In my growing up days, Bad to Me, and Little Children were two of my favorites. I haven't heard Little Children since then...until today. Saw Billy J in Savannah, GA a couple of years back, but don't remember that he did Little Children, he did do Bad to Me, though.

I also found you guys at Amazon.com in their download section. It is a thrill for me having The Dakotas as part of the Soundclick Family. What a pleasant surprise. As I type, your page is playing, and you've got my favorite of all songs playing, Everlasting Love, I don't care who sings it...its always great.

Welcome to Soundclick. I'll put you on my A VARIETY OF SOUNDS station and hopefully "drum up" some business.
