I agree with the comment about the track being cinematic, it creates very strong emotions and feelings and would be perfect for a movie soundtrack. I like the darkness and suspense intertwined with the playful, unpredictable notes. Then the saxophone....a joy to listen to, absolutely incredible! Love the way it interacts with the piano. Superb arrangements, totally captivating...and I enjoyed the change of direction at around 5:00 to a fuller sound. Stunningly good work in every way - very, very impressive!

As always, Alexis, you pack SO much into a composition - so many mood-swings, so many twists and turns in this new sonic baby of yours. But all with that indefinable 'quelquechose' which marks it as yours and yours alone - you are one of those rare artists whose work always carries their signature. Sublime stuff.
Very best regards,

Hi Alexis!
Been a long time! We haven't been doing much here either. Your talents never cease to amaze me and many others. I love the new tune. I love how scenery changes throughout the song. At the point where things kind of slow down, it makes me visualize break of dawn in my head. It is so soothing.
Thanks for the invitation, as always.

Masterful work. Distinctive use of sax, bass and keys as melodic counterpoints. Some very skippy keyboard work, Alexis that interplays superbly with the percussion. Very brooding feel around the two minute section. Wonderful piece of composition, superbly performed and crafted. Congrats, dear friend.

wow! Incredible sonic journey Alexis! How do you create such things? When the percussion comes in, it reminded me a bit of Mahavishnu...but it takes so many turns and rolls and spirals...like twisting the end of a kaleidescope indeed! Fantastic playing and creative vision. Excellent production and a perfect thumbnail too! Bravo my friend...an easy 5 stars!

Out of the box tune here Alexis....and a real interesting departure for you. There is so much going on here timing wise and chordally. At times this has the playfulness of a Mozart composition...at other times it is strictly just great jazz going where it wants to go. I love that. You are one great player and producer Alexis. I am always amazed at the quality of your work. Excellent new tune! You may not crank them out quantity -wise...but the QUALITY is always there. Bravo my friend!

Long after mankind see's to exists there will still be enourmes amount of unused tone- combinations in music..
You my friend has for shure taken a big grasp out of that big bag with this tune!
I had to listen 3 times to absorb all the richness in tone-combinations and wonderful chords-progressions.
You not only master the sax. With this piece you show high-class in piano-treatment!
A very complexed piece , VERY WELL WRITTEN! and also very inspirational.

Greetings, Alexis,
A very cool composition, all the individual sounds are great, as is the overall production.
While I'm not qualified to comment on a deeper musical level, I can say I very much enjoyed listening to this
.
Congradulations on a fine piece of music,
Mauri.
