Well-known Connecticut mixtape distributor J.R., is at it again. This time he’s bringing you another chapter to the ‘Bullyin’ the Streets’ Mixtape trilogy. But this time around, he’s hooked up with young producer and entrepreneur, Lexis Ray to bring you what is guaranteed to be the best mixtape in the series.
Like the first two volumes of ‘Bullyin’ the Streets’ the mixtape will be completely free to the consumer. With the help of 25 plus locations we have been extremely successful in getting our product directly into the hands of an interested audience. This is critical to building a fan base and or promoting ones self. As a mixtape distributor, I’ve developed a relationship with the store owners in CT and parts of MA. This connection is the key component to the success of the ‘Bullyin’ the Streets’ machine. With proper placement of posters and the appreciated willingness of store owners, we have been able to successfully dispense Mixtapes to interested customers. We have put more than 2,000 pieces in circulation. And plan to raise that number to 3,000 with the release of ‘Bullyin’ the Streets’ Vol. #3.
Everyone in the music industry knows how hard it is to get people interested in hearing new artists, especially in a market as flooded as Hip-Hop is right now. Bullyin the Streets has been and continues to be a positive outlet for marketing unsigned artists to an eager audience.
ARTIST PACKAGES TO BE ON THE BULLYIN THE STREETS VOL.# 3
Proof is in persistence. Vol. 1 & 2 are in stores now. If you are unsure about being on a Bullyin’ the Streets mixtape holla at JR or Lexis Ray and we’ll get a copy of both CD’s in your hands. Bullyin’ the Streets is not a project created for profit. Creating, producing, distributing and marketing quality CDs isn’t cheap. That being said, we plan to produce more posters to supplement the promotional CDs to the stores. This time around we are producing more copies than the usual 1,000 and we are also currently making efforts to strengthen our relationship with Mixtape websites to hopefully have a better web presence for Bullyin’ the Streets Vol. # 3. Please note that all artists featured on the mixtape will receive free inserts with their package. And because the mixtape is free to the consumer you are encouraged to use the inserts to make additional copies to further promote.
• 1 song/freestyle- $100.00
• 2 songs and drop- $175.00
• 3 songs a personal drop and web promotion*- $225.00
• For the artists that have already been featured on at least one volume of bullyin the streets, there’s a ‘Welcome Back Package’ that allows you to submit 3 songs and a personal drop for $175.00
