Hello world.
I am proud to be a part of a party this Saturday in Seattle where I will be performing a live PA of my original music. The party is called Kipa'ana.
http://kipaana.djdiem.com/
This is a really cool benefit for C.O.L.O.R.
Color's mission is to create opportunity for impoverished children and youth through aid, education, and raising social awareness.
http://coloraid.org/
But this party is also the wedding reception for my good friends Angela and the mighty Diem (www.djdiem.com) who just got married in Hawaii (we all went and had a great time and made fools of ourselves!).
I'll be playing from 10PM to 11:15
And here is Angela's message:
Hello lovely people,
As many of you know, Diem and I are doing something a
little different for our reception
(http://kipaana.djdiem.com/index.html). Rather than
have people buy us stuff, we have decided to have a
huge party that is also a fundraiser for one of our
favorite non-profit groups.
The event is this Saturday night at the (new) Little
Red Studio and all profits will be donated to
C.O.L.O.R. (http://coloraid.org/) which is a direct
action non-profit committed to helping pull families
in Sri Lanka out of poverty by educating their
children.
Where: Little Red Studio (750 Harrison Street)
When: Saturday, July 21st 9:00 pm until the dj gets
tired.
Tickets are $10 pre-sale, $15 at the door
(http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/15508)
Our musical line up is off the hook, featuring
9:00 - 10:00 DJ Casey Ann
10:00 - 11:15 Ludington GT
11:15 - 12:30 Beehive
12:30 - 2:00 Dj Geminitrix
2:00 on.. who knows, maybe Diem will hop on the
decks.
Also, there will be fun drink specials courtesy of
Princess who is rocking the bar. Come early to catch
her and I behind the bar making drinks the only way we
know how.. strong.
I know there are a lot of things going on this
weekend, but I would love to see you all there.
Thanks everyone for your support.

So, all of you within the proximity of Seattle need to attend this great fun event.

Total Immersion has a great flow and a great build to it... yet its always very ambient and evolving... And what I like is you don't kitchen-sink it which always ruins the vibe for me.... Its just cool... Peace cya!!!!

What I mean is only once in a great while I hear something good coming out of our great city and more seem to be showing up as the year goes on. Keep it coming!

I don't get to hear this kind of goodness coming out of the emerald city. Kudos and all the best.
