Funny how this happens...you hit it on the head...the more you earn the more you owe????how does that work?????
Glad to see you've recovered from your setbacks and recording again.
I am currently rehearsing with a band and we may be playing the Annandale in the spring...I'll let you know

Well, the folk community would be hard-pressed to try to match a song like this one! I've loved this ballad but never heard a decent version of it... Needless to say I never expected such a powerful rendition!
It would be great to hear more traditional songs from you. The world needs more ballad-singers with such voices smile :)

Hi Charles,

A VERY atmospheric song, this ! Love the way you sing "MoonRIIIIIse" - great guitar solo too. Like the way the lyrics build too, and a very effective ending: lovely piece !

Very best to you.

Charles,
Just wanted to drop in and let you know how much I enjoyed listening to the Istanbul song. I first started noticing your name in the charts a year or so ago. My step dad was Charles Nelson Tyler, I see your in Australia, my songs were recently aired through Australia on a couple radio stations, "Coast Fm 88.7" for one. the featured me as the artist on the show, and did a give a way of a couple of my cds Anyways, without being long winded, enjoyed the music. I am a singer/songwriter from Tennessee.

Hallo Charles,
thx a lot,
me personally I grew up 1968 12y with Beach Boys, Hendrix, Beach Boys, Cream and all the others. So I like Blues, Rock and many others. Ur style is a bit L.Cohen like. Very impressive. My favourite Band is still the Enid; I will have a tour in Germany next week with Nick May, last guitarist of the Enid. Hyperionsfate is an internet project with a Dutch woman. soundclick.com/princesseldi is my personal side with homerecording stuff.

All the best to the other side

cheers
Hans
