Subject: Kengosha Entertainment Presents… The Unsigned Artists Mix CD



To Whom It May Concern:



First off I’d like to introduce myself to all of you my name is Shawn Slaughter, and thank all of you for showing your interest in this project “The Unsigned Artist Mix CD” with Kengosha Entertainment. There will be two volumes to start this series and many more if the artist demand calls for it which it probably will. I’m going to give you an overview of what this project is set-up to achieve and accomplish for all artists involved.



This compilation will be hand delivered to A& R’s at Bad Boy, Arista, Universal, Sony and Aftermath so there are a few things we should mention. In regards to submitting your package, there are a few things that you will need to include with your package. You will need to send the name of the artist or group with a picture or logo if one is available representing your locale and your crew. Send no more than three (3) songs, with your submission fee of $25.00 via check or money order to the following address:

The $25.00 fee covers the cost for submitting up to three (3) songs and also gets you five (5) compact disks in return for being a part of the project. Being that a lot of artists have shown interest in this project, we have started getting set for volume two. The first volume submission deadline is June 1, 2005 with a release date of July 2005 and the second volume deadline is September 1, 2005 with a release date of November 2005. When we receive your music, it will be listened to by our staff and your hottest song in our opinion will appear on the first volume. No more than two of any group or artist songs will appear on any of the “Unsigned Artist Mix CD Volumes. For the liner notes, we will need the group/artist name, title of song, writer and producer credits, as well as contact info for that act. You can also include shout-outs in your liner notes if you would like to, that option is open to all acts.



In regards to any feedback that we receive for any groups/artists involved with this project, we will contact them via email if they didn’t have any contact info listed. To be on any of the upcoming projects you must use the same format for submitting material as listed above. Don’t be saddened that the song you may have wanted on the compact disk doesn’t make it, just submit for the next volume.
