I love what you are doing. I'll take the love of an animal over the love of a human almost every time. Their love, trust, faithfulness and devotion never wavers. Idiots beat and neglect their pets like they are inanimate objects. But even a dog that has been beaten and abused still shows love and loyalty to its abuser.
Perhaps the lion is the undisputed "King". But the dog has characteristics that most humans should learn. Among them, loyalty, faithfulness, and unconditional love. Only a dog would take a bullet for you and still try to protect you. Show me another in the animal kingdom that even comes close to that kind of loyalty and love for another species.
God has blessed the dog with the most valued characteristics of all animal kingdom. It is so good to see someone standing up for all animals.

This is an incredibly powerful and moving song....definately one of my favorites of all your musical gems.

This is one heck of a love song...quirky, direct, strong, and from the heart.

Great! What a wonderful blues tinged ballad to shine the light of hope on such fascinating creatures, the 'roos. Lordy...some of those high notes are in the stratosphere! Great acoustic tone and playing...like sitting in your living room hearing the song. Maria you are the best lyricist on this site hands down. How Paul finds the perfect arrangement is just plain magic. Excellent tune!

that was a beautiful song.... sad lyrics....it hits home for me...Im a big dog fan,,and rescuer. The song cuts right into the heart..... which is a good thing. I would love to share this with my friend at the Humane Society.

What a beautiful, beautiful song. Such touching and sensitive lyrics sung with heartfelt emotion. Again, as if by some miracle, Paul has arrived at your musical wavelength with a perfectly composed arrangement that allows the lyrics to flow right into our hearts. Loved the lead at the end with it's innocent tone and harmony parts.
