Hey Paul,
just want to say thanks for the feedback on my Headhoney page. I've checked out some of yr songs - I'm digging the Malkmus vibe you have going at times. Of the songs I listened to, Shine stands out the most (being a Pavement fan).
It seems that you're recording all in one take, and it's kinda limiting yr sound. I recommend you download ACID Pro (you can get it from Kazaa so I'm told). It's an easy-to-use multi-track recorder. I'd like to hear the picking continue into the vocal sometimes, so it may be the tool to try. You can also loop WAV's etc and to add drum loops or whatever kind of loops take yr fancy.

hey paul
"never titled"
a great idea and good lyrics behind the song, but I think your singing a half step higher than you should...don't take offense..just some constructive criticism...try and sing w/ your gutteral voice and this song would be f***ing money!!!! keep jamming and hit me back...thanks!

Hi,
I’m writing to you to find out if you would be interested in participating in an “on line open mic night” at sound click!
Here’s how it would work:
Once a month acoustic artists will submit their song on the sound click boards, it must be a live recording just as if you were doing an open mic night at a café.
Every artist will be able to submit one song every month, you will have a specified amount of time (deadline) to do so, i.e.; The first two days of every month!
Then there will be a period in which all the participants will be able to vote on their favorite song/performance, this information will be available for all to view since it will be posted on the boards where everyone can view the tally.
Each month the artist with the most votes will win prizes from sound click (Exclusive 24hr front page rotation , featured artist or promo song of the day)
Please contact me at reyvee61@msn.com if you are interested in participating, it can only be a good thing for the acoustic community here at sound click, we can get exposure and get to hear some really good music from like minded artists!
Remember this is only an idea and it would require a pretty good turn out for me to present this to the admins here at S.C.
I am certain that with enough participation that sound click would provide the prizes!
Thank You
