Hi Ken.
Boy, I AM AM AMERICAN ought to make it as a national standard. The lyrics portray a consensus "we the people" know about here on the pavement level that is not expressed enough.
The rest of the world sees us through the eyes of the news. The media enjoys contention to sell their news. They don't like this message because it doesn't enforce the controversies they like to use to sell their precious air time. It's rather disgusting to me.
My family is black, asian, latino, and several shades of white. Songs like this bridge gaps. I'm glad you paint our culture with a full pallet. Maybe music can show a more accurate picture.
