Love this song, the composition is so well done and your singing is perfect, beautiful voice. The double voices also right on spot.
Fine instrumental playing too.

Delicious darling....there are always changes that can be made to any song...they suit some and not others...make the choices that suit you. Me, I loved it start to finish....but I have said that about other songs, then it's been revamped and I've loved the revamp too....maybe I am just too easy to please lol
Love you baby...and this song is fabbbbbbbbb

Hello Amy,
I love to listen to your fabulouus voice, you sing with sooooo much passion.....such a delight !!!!
I am feauturing your Heartache this week, you did such a fantastic job with it...
I am doing much better now, healthwise, in June I had a pulmanary embolism (blood clot in the right lung), it almost killled me, my love for music helped me to fight my way back....life is soooo short and when it is almost gone, we struggle to get back where we were...
I traveled to Philadelphia two weeks ago and auditioned for the "America's Got Talent" program. I may hear back from them in January. I waited in line for 9 1/2 hours before auditioning...I was soooo tired by then, I sang "Honey" and it went well...There were over 2000 people auditioning so my chances are slim of getting a call, but it was a learning experience.....and fun, I made some new friends and enjoyed the experience.
How are you doing, Please update me on you latest endeavors, I would love to hear how you are doing....
Have a Wonderful weekend,
Big Hugs,
Kurt

Hi Amy,
Sorry I'm a bit late with my comments. This is a really beautiful, and above all, deeply touching, song. I agree with Tony: your production skills are way up there, now - I also agree with Morten's comment about the second guitar, though - I think the song would build beautifully if you started it real simple, with just that strummed guitar and your heavenly voice. And a little observation of my own: I found the second voice on the chorus, that echoes "Now I know" and "Just a door" just a tad intrusive - maybe the volume could be reduced just a little ? I LOVED the harmonies on the chorus, though - and it's a GREAT song.
Keep 'em coming !
Very best to you, Amy,
Michel

Hi Amy,
Voice is super, and a really beautiful melody, particularly the chorus :-) It is of course great as it is, but seeing as you're looking for comments, heres my tuppence worth: A couple of things I'd try:
1) Wait with the strummy guitar (the one panned hard left) until 1st chorus or 2nd verse. I reckon this would make the start much stronger, and possibly the first chorus.
2) For the break at 3:19 to 3:28, find a different rhythm for the strummy guitar, it seems to be working against the other instruments (at least not in a useful way)
3) Towards end of song, at around 3:48, replace the 'and I gotta find' section with the chorus (from 'I'm a little bit'.... to 'but it is there'). We can take hearing it again, and leaves us with this in mind instead of the other section which isn't quite as strong.

I am not as jealous as I was. My brother Jim and I are going to see MACCA on August 1st in DC.
Hey did you see him on the Letterman show playing on top of the Marquee to the Ed Sullivan theater. Opened with GET BACK a little touch of Deja Vu. Only two songs were shown on LEtterman but looks like he did a full blown show. Go out to You Tube and you can see a whole bunch from the roof.
