Well it has been a long time since I made any music.

My plumbing business has been doing so well that it has pushed music to the side.

I also recently met some people who have are involved in the music professionally and I have to admit that I do not think the industry has made them into nice people. It seems to bring out the worst. It is so competative and there is such jealousy.

I need a different creative kind of space to make my music.

I have no desire to be famous or compete on those terms. I just want to compose and improve my skills because that is what I enjoy.

I have been songwriting today. I usually choose Sunday as there is usually no plumbing work to be done.

My main challenge is to create a musical arrangement as a background to the tune. The ideal situation would be if I could focus my efforts on the lyrics, the melody and the vocal performance.

I enjoy working on arrangements though and I am in no hurry to get this song finished.

I think that Touch of the Sun works exceptionally well with those simple long synth chords.

I am not happy with the quality of the recording on "Goodbye to the Summer" at all. However I just wanted to get it out there, but the way it is does not do it justice.

With this next song I want to get the sound a little bit more like what I want it to be, even if it is at the expense of creating other songs.
