This piece is stunningly beautiful, loved the flute lead melody, the bends, the purity of the tone and the undercurrent chord changes of the background with the steady beat supporting but never in the way of the lead. It captured my imagination instantly and kept me dreaming of that far away peaceful land where life was pure and simple....my humble beginnings as a little boy.

Hi there family Fretwell! Lovely to meet you all. I think we tried using Guiness to put out the 'fire' on the Congress Reel-but it had the effect of pouring on gasoline!!!!The sound of your flutes is magical, isn't it?! Something akin to the Celtic low whistle in there, I feel! Jeremy/Poitin...
