Wow, I really like your songs! The first one reminds me a little of this band Pooka (I think they're from the UK--a friend taped them for me when I was living in radio black-out in Japan) from the early '90s. Also heard the Velvets in there, especially in the second song. But maybe that's just me. Love the dark ambling bass line in "Play".
Have to say, too, that you have one of the better "interviews" posted on these Soundclick sites. How is Pablo, anyway?

A few people have mentioned the Beat Happening comparison. We know very little about them other than the K records connection.
Your music reminds me of many things most immediately Velvet Underground. It's defintviely your own though. I'm moving on to song 3 now. Good Luck.
