Dear Friends and Fellow Musicians,
I am writing you today about a very important matter that needs our immediate attention. Did you know that 24,000 people will die today of starvation? Mothers will watch their children die, children will see thier parents die, and lovers will lose each other. These are people and families JUST like us!
Now there is a way that we can TRULY make a difference. There is a new website: http://www.soundaid.org that I am imploring you to check out. Various unsigned artists have donated thier music. You can download an EP for the small contribution of $5.00. ALL of the proceeds from the site will go to the Heifer Foundation. (http://www.heifer.org)
From the moment that I heard about the Heifer Foundation I was sold on their concept. Funds raised are used to give families a food source rather than short term relief. Instead of a cup of milk the families get a cow, a flock of hens, or rabbits. This gives them self reliance through a sustainable source of food and income. The female offspring are passed along to other needy families so your gift is a gift that keeps giving.
If you are an artist, please consider donating your music to the cause. Just think....your songs could comfort a hungry child for the days to come. Not just one child, but many. So please come by Sound Aid and sign on. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come by the site, listen to some music clips from some GREAT artists, donate and download. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. One last favor...PLEASE pass this message along to your friends on your e-mail list. What a blessing that would be! Together we can heal world hunger one song at a time. Thank you so very much and God bless you.
Love and Peace,
Beth

Dear Gary,
It's been a long time coming, but I finally have a new song up. It's a song I wrote to my Daddy four days before he passed away. It was God's way of telling me that it was his time.
This is not the final version of the song. We recorded it in a hurry as I thought I was leaving town. The next version we'll take our time. It needs to be a bit slower, with less cymbals, and better vocals. The timing on it is a bit off as well.
Anyway...it will give you an idea of what's to come. I hope that you'll give it a listen. Oh...it's called, "Daddy Can You Hear Me Up In Heaven?" Thanks for checking it out. Have a wonderful day and God bless you always!
Love and Peace,
Beth
PS
I've got a band now! There are four of us! Woo Hoo!

Thanks for your kind words on my site!
Just written a new one, 'The Visitors'. This will in time be re-recorded by my band, (Forbidden Whispers). However, I rather like the demo, so have put it on my solo page.
Enjoy!

Dear Gary,
"Two of a Kind" is such a fun (and true!) song! Great job! I just posted my new song, "The Sixth Sense" Earlier I had posted an instrumental version of the song, but this version has the vocals. I hope that you'll stop by and check it out. I think that I'm going to re-do the first verse. I have a terrible cold, and on the first verse it sounds very nasal so please excuse that. I hope that you enjoy it! You might like to check out the lyrics as that's what my music is all about. Have a great day and God bless!
