I can't rate this song. of course i love it and would love to sing it (either version). the lyrics in this depict the other side of the man i knew to be big, loud, crude and rowdey; with a big voice and a bellowing laugh; always ready with an opinion or a helping hand. I love that "Never Mind My Mind". That was a great collab, music and words meshed superbly. And your performance was right on time too. I could hear some Costello influence on this one in terms of song structure. I'm listening to "Don't Cry" now. That's another good one. Very bluesy Jim Croce type of flavor. I'm enjoying your stuff here.
