Listening to that MGS2 song. I'm quite familiar with the song because it's one of my favorite orchestrated pieces ever. You did a pretty decent job bringing the theme in, and I take notice that you did change it a little as far as the drums. I did want to know if those bangs in the beginning and elsewhere are actual sounds and what weapon that is if they are the real sounds, if they aren't real sounds, I would suggest digging up the real ones . It does end abrupt, but so does the original piece, you should listen to it and include that type of ending that the original had, it works. I think you could put a lot more into it, if it is a tribute to Iraq, put a lot of stuff in there, if you're for the war, then obviously put some things in there that give praise, if you're not, tag in a lot of things that let us know what is going on, how bad things are.
I do think you've done a pretty darn good job remixing the original song, you're heading right on into William Orbit's world (and if you are not familiar with William Orbit, I suggest you find one of his CDs and get it, he basically takes classical and orchestrated songs and remixes them with electronic synths and stuff and you'd be so surprised to learn that because the quality is beyond amazing).
