Frank Doherty is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/fiddler and founder member of MYHOO. Together with Erik Faithfull (on Uileann Pipes and all things 'wind') we make up MYHOO a lively Irish Music band with a hint of Hot Club.
Why this name?
It was easy to remember - neither of us can remember long words. In Irish 'MYHOO' sort of means 'Good On You!!!'
Do you play live?
Yes we play around the pubs and clubs of the South East. I play guitar and fiddle while Erik plays Uileann Pipes, Flute and Whistles. The sound is completed with backing trax comprising our characteristic 'Hot Club' rhythm section.
Also I sing the better Irish ballads and some originals!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More exposure for the artist. It is much easier to reach a mass audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hmm!!! Probably not....
