Who am I? Who is McConn? McConn is a 16 year old, asian american formally known as Malfunkshin. He now goes by McConn.
Now 16 years of age, and rapping for 4 years, McConn is determined to bless the game with his skills.
McConn started out freestyling, writing poetry, and later elevated to recording, and writing lyrics.
McConn has his own style, whether its ripping cats in a freestyle battle, or writing about how he lived, and how he wants to live. He's on the eastcoast vibe.
McConn Currently resides in Germantown, Maryland, but grew up in Houston, Texas. He still represent H-town and always will.

Why this name?
McConn is the street that i grew up on in Houston, Texas. I lived on this street for 13 years.
Do you play live?
McConn does not play live yet, however, he does do talent shows. He's looking for oppurtunities to play live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet greatly impacts the music industry today. Artists are able to promote themselves easier, without having to get on the radio. Also, they can get heard world wide, from different ends of the world, so that others can hear their talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. Only exception would be Cash Money, and No Limit (Unless they let me keep my style of rapping)
Your influences?
No question about it, Eminem. Eminem is a genius in his lyrics, and has a way with his words. Other influences include Ludacris, Big L (R.I.P), TuPac (R.I.P), Jay Z, Nas, and others...
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot would probably be my room or my basement. In my basement is where I can record, and think to myself. In my room, is where i can write. Just sit back, pen in hand, and the beat just running.
