ARNOLD ZAMORA is a singer-songwriter, arranger and choral conductor who hails from Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. Currently based in San Francisco, CA, Zamora continues to reach out to as many people through his wide-array of musical influences either as a composer, arranger, producer or through his never-ending "commissioned works," sharing his knowledge of music to different choral groups in the Bay Area, the Philippines and other international groups who use his choral arrangements in their repertoire. AZ himself has established a number of singing groups including the nationally accalaimed CHOPA or Chorus Paulinus of Manila, the Singing Priests of Tagbilaran or SPOT, and had been a big influence on newly-formed singing groups such as the Jeduthun Quartet, a budding singing group of priests out of Bohol, who had juust completed a successful singing stint in the U.S. in 2008. AZ, too, is the very "mind & hand" responsible for writing the tune of "Salamat, Ama" which was brought to fame by the great Filipino balladeer, Basil Valdez, just before his retirement from public limelight and performances a decade or so ago.
