MYSTIC DREAMER -
ALL INSTRUMENTALS, ALL THE TIME!
Just spent three weeks in the hospital (mid January). My heart stopped 4 times, twice at home, once in the ambulance and once at the hospital. I am lucky to have a nurse/wife who kept me alive with CPR. Home now but tired. Going in for an Angiogram in February and a possible pacemaker.
PLEASE!
Still need the real title to my posted "Unknown Bruce Springsteen". I cannot find the title to this old Bruce hit. If you know it, PLEASE e-mail me with it so I can check to see how close I came, or if I have to "revise" it! I did it from a vague memory of the tune.
Recently posted an old Roy Orbison hit titled "Shahdaroba" as well as my personal favorite "Palisades Park" an old Freddie Cannon Song. I also posted "Time To Say Goodbye", a pretty orchestration of a truly beautiful song. Will post two new ones I recently wrote soon!
Hopefully I will have more time to devote to my music than I did this summer

Classically trained for 6 years, then discovered 50's Rock 'n Roll. Formed my own "Rock 'n Roll" band when I was 14 years old. Went on to play in so many bands and music generes I have lost count. Played professionally for 13 years in Country Music in the late 60's, early 70's using a Wurlitzer electric piano.
Did the nightclub scene as an organist at one time as "The King of the Keys". I once was in a Gospel quartet, but I do not consider myself a singer.
Used to, but not anymore. Retired from playing live when I discovered keyboards that enabled me to be the whole band, and not depend upon other "flakey" musicians to show up! (if you are a musician, bet you've "been there, done that"!).
Number one: FLOYD CRAMER!, The Beatles Forever! (Most original/unique chord progressions ever!) Credence, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, The Eagles, Rod Stewart and yes, even Andrea Bochelli! The list goes on and on. . . I seem to get some "influence" from every song I listen to. Can't name the artists, but I get a LOT of influence from modern "Spanish Speaking" love songs. In the LA area, KLOVE 107.5 is a wonderful station with drop dead gorgeous musical arrangements.
I get all of this out of an older Yamaha PSR510! (The most versitile Keyboard EVER!). But I am dying for the day I can afford a Yamaha PSR-S900 - My "Dream Machine"! Donations Accepted (LOL)
