We are the noise you hear when your head is being crushed in a trash compactor or ground to pulp in the sink trash disposal or incinerated in the furnace. Yeah baby. We are that good.
The story so far:
On May 12, 2007 at around 3:30ish, I (Mike Freund) asked my brother Jason & our next door neighbor Matt if they wanted to record an amalgamation the craziest noises we could make on a few instruments, and they agreed. So we ventured to the garage, and proceeded to make the most vociferous racket we could possibly create. And we did just that. 3 hours later and 7 songs into recording, Matt had to go home, so we had to end the sessions. But before he left, my brother Jason made the good point that we just made this terrible record, and we needed something to call ourselves. Thinking about the horrific mess of an Ep we just made, I figured we should call it ''Sonic Rubbish'', since that's what it sounded like.
We are a brother duo for the moment, but we want a bassist and maybe a second guitarist. But until we find someone capable of making a good racket that will contribute to the band instead of ruining it, a duo we shall stay and that is ok by us.
Now I know there are fancy bands out there with shiny lead singers and guitarists who could serenade Lucifer himself with a pentatonic lullaby. But you got another thing comin' if you think you're ever gonna hear rawer hardcore punk than this. So far, we're just starting to hone our talents into a collaborating unit that can call itself a band, so we'll sound a little rough around the edges. But I promise that if someone out there reading this encourages us and sticks with us during these formative stages of musical childhood, we'll someday be the most powerful heap o' punk to ever raise a hullabaloo...
Yeah, in our garage. We love it. The really special moments happen all the time because well, we're just that tight an outfit! In fact, we're a tighter outfit than what most 80's hair metal bands wore onstage.
