The "old" nature we are all born with has to die daily with Jesus on the cross. Then our new nature or "born again" nature is able to rejoice in Him... I am now able to "lift Him up" and experience rest and refreshment to my soul because of what He has done for me at the cross. My goal is that Lift Him Up Songs would reflect the truths contained in His word.

It's great to get music out there. The internet provides that opportunity.

In Matthew 8:23-27 Jesus delivers His followers from violent weather. He rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great and wonderful calm. How much more is He able to deliver us from violent circumstances that rock our lives. He chided his followers for their lack of faith. We may also feel the sting of His rebuke if we fail to trust in Him to see us through the stormy times.
