Band History:
"Sound Priest is the original Johnny Rockstar" says it's Frontman/ lead Guitarist. "Before I wrote the song Johnny Rockstar, and introduced it to the internet that name had never even been heard of, but now if you do a google search on Johnny Rockstar, you will be overwhelmed, your computer screen will be suddenly swamped with websites, or links using our song name!" He laughs, "I wonder if these people know I hold the original rights to that name."

Sound Priest is a band that calls ATX, and the "Thunder on the Ohio River City" home. You can find this band thrashing away on a Saturday night at local venues, or open mic's. Sound Priest was born in 1999, and thru trial, and error, have gained alot of fans over the internet who support their music, mostly good spirited folks, young and old, who can relate to the hard-ships of the band songwriter who spills out his emotions into every song in an attempt to tell the world about his life-long dealings with pain, suffering, and love. Sound Priest is a very versatile band, the songwriting style is very flexible and geared anywhere from Hard Industrial/ Heavy Metal, to an 80's Power ballad Metal, and then you can even sometimes find some songs with a soothing Acoustic Indy feel. So kick back! Grab a listen! And buy something, if you feel sorry for us... LOL!

Sound Priest Music would like to thank: First and foremost #1 GOD! and then my beautiful wife for standing by me, I would also like to thank Josh E., the most awesome drummer, I have ever witnessed in my life. I'm proud Josh that a drummer with your excellence, super speed, precision strikes, and talent believed in my band Sound Priest enough to Jam live with me. You are a great friend buddy, and will never be forgotten, and Sound Priest will never be the same without you. I'd also like to thank Kramer American Guitars for manufacturing three of the most awesome Heavy Metal/Rock Guitars in the world, my Kramer Sustainer, Kramer Custom Pacer II, and my Kramer Pro-Axe. I would have given up on Guitar playing long ago if it hadn't been for my Kramers! I'd like to thank all the Fans of Sound Priest Music who return to this site on a daily basis just to listen to the tunes, and the people out there who have believed in us. The Kramer Guitar Forum-Worldwide Kramer Guitar Community online, for promoting the upcoming album, and all the internet Radio stations that are now streaming Sound Priest Music over the web, special thanks to The NOAA Central Library, and the National Severe Storms Laboratory for allowing use of the above storm photograph for the website! Thanks guys and gals! Godbless you all! You ROCK!
