XS Entertainment Group proudly presents 15 year old singer/songwriter...Kylie Riggins.
At only 15 years old, Kylie Riggins is ready to make her mark in the recording industry. In the spring of 2003, Kylie was signed to a Production & Development Deal with XS Entertainment Group. Through the agreement, she was paired up with producer/songwriter Joshua Adams and began production that summer. At that time, Kylie was still only 14 years old and Adams was extremely amazed at how professional she was. Adams encouraged Kylie’s love of writing. One of the songs, “Promises”, is included in her 5-Song EP project.
While production was underway with Adams, Kylie kept a full schedule in a effort to constantly develop her talents. During early 2003, she was encouraged to try out at the very respected Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida. Kylie auditioned for the school of vocal performance and was immediately accepted for the 2003-2004 school year.
In June of 2003, Kylie was selected to be an assistant at a workshop in upstate New York called “Beginnings”. At the workshop, she was trained by acting, singing, and dancing coaches from New York City. Among the instructors were a Broadway performer named Lawrence E. Street and head casting director for Disney, Arnold Mungioli. Due to the workshop training, Kylie had the chance to perform a monologue at the Orpheum Theater in an off-Broadway production.
Even while juggling her education, singing, and performing, Kylie still loves to play sports and hang out with her friends. Regardless of her busy schedule, Kylie says that she will always find time for God, her family, and her friends. She feels the sacrifices she is making now will all be worthwhile someday, and besides she loves what she is doing.
Kylie hopes that what she does as an artist will leave a positive impact on her listeners and bring a new edge to the music industry. Unlike many new young artists, Kylie possesses the creativity, artistic emotion, and God given talent to do so.
