For 10 years, between 1991 and 2001, years before he was ever called the Gangsta Rabbi, Steve Lieberman recorded 38 cassette tapes of raw, political religious hardcore dubbed "Pit-Bash". these recordings have been lost to the world for 11 years-until now!
under the project names of Bop Bop Bigger Bab-eL(1991-1994), RetrieverHead 11'9(1995-1996) and Lev & The Bad'lan Brigade(1997-2001) Steve Lieberman recorded 38 tapes using his trademark distorted bass, vocals and a really old beatmachine. These recordings are probably among the most primitive and primal music ever created, containing staunch anti-racist, holocaust remembrance, Biblical and many other themes.
