The World Spoke - And Rock On Songs(tm) Listened:
###### Announcing All New Prices - All Songs Free - All The Time######
Associated Press Release 5/17/13: In a stunning turn of events today, J.R. Worthington Farnswort III (Director of Communications for ROS(tm) Western Hemisphere's Administrative Corporate Headquarters) held a hurriedly assembled press conference to throngs of demanding journalists'.
During the session J.R. read aloud his (until then) guarded cable from "Bill(tm) & Dave(tm)." In a hushed room he read "The boys(tm) have directed me to inform the world(tm) that as of this moment and into perpetuity; all, I repeat all ROS(tm) songs will be available to all, I repeat all good people in the world for free - forever!" "Free Forever?" gasped the mass of investigative force - "what about profit?" "Profit?" responded J.R., "profit is for small, evil people; Dave(tm) & Bill are large and good." And with that, so changed a rock band a nation and a world.
As news quickly spread over the media and web about free music forever - hundreds of e-mails poured in: here's just a few:
Dear Bill & Dave & Bill (I like Bill the best): My sister and I have gone without some of our chemo-therapy to save enough for your best album 'Back On Top," but now we can enjoy your greatest hits for free forever while improving our chances of life - thanks for letting us live. icanlivenow@infusion.com
Dear Dave & Bill & Ben (I like it when Bill lets Dave call him Ben): When my wife's boyfriend told me about your new free music forever deal, I was busy beating him up; but now I've changed, all because of your calming tunes - now I'm just slapping him around. liketopunchhim@bruiser.net
Dear Bill & Sticks: I've been streaming your stuff, but now that it's free forever - I got to tell you Bill, it's time to dump Rich Butters & Dave - I think they're disabled or something. downwithdeformedpeople.bigotry.net
So, many, many excited people waiting for free music forever - and now it's your turn to have free music forever too: All you have to do is pick it, download it, play it and Rock On Songs!!!
What's next for the "Fab-Four Minus Two?" Well, it's back to the practice room at ROS central for a bunch of bigger. better and free-er forever songs (just like daddy use to make). We're working on three new free ones as you're reading this (for free) - "It's All Good," "The Best Night's Sleep" and a surprise mystery tune. So, stay tuned and stay frosty - don't blow out your trans-axle Ripply!

Behind The Scenes Interview With The Boys: By Clutch Cargo(tm)
Sure we all remember where we were on 9/11*, the Moon Landing* and J.F.K.s' Assassination*; and just like then we're shocked by this stunning "free music forever" offer from the acclaimed ROS(rm). But I had to find out from the source, just how they reached this amazingly shocking conclusion. So, me and my sidekick Paddle-foot(tm) decided to head over to ROS Central(tm) to find out if this decision is for the common good or just the insane.
Clutch: "Dave, tell me why would a successful enterprise like yours (and Bill's(tm)) take such a radical deviation from the norm?
Dave: "Well Clutch, I never liked that guy Norm Smith(tm) in school, so I'm all to happy to deviate him - but seriously Clutch and Paddle-foot (if that's really your name) Bill and I were just making too much money, getting too many babes and spending way too much time in Vegas and not enough time making new songs. It's like a drug, yeah a drug, a sweet, sweet, sweet delectable drug (of course we would never use those things in church).
Clutch: "Bill, Dave appears a bit high, maybe you could finish his answer?
Bill: "What? Hey, Dave don't use it all............."
Clutch: "So, if you guys aren't charging for the songs, how do you expect to turn a profit?"
Bill & Dave: "Profit is for small evil people; we are large and good people."
Clutch: "Anything you would like to add for your public?"
Dave & Bill: "What?"
And there you have it from a couple of large and good guys!
*****************************************************************************************
Professor Douglas J. Hillman Phd, MVP, DVD, BVD, Esquire III chimes in on the type of mental conditions that propagate such extremely poor decisions:
"It appears that the boys(tm) may be experiencing a phobic or manic reaction similar to workers exposed for long periods of time to gasses, fumes or noctious agents in massive sponge warehouses, photo finishing labs or beauty parlors. This condition(s) is known as Monitariphobia (fear of too much cash, female companionship or delectable (legal) pharmaceuticals."
"Although, often hard to diagnose - Dave's response in the interview (see above section) may be an indicator of this type of mania. But, hell, download it all before they notice.

"Bite of Salem" 2005
Why this name?
Bill's known me for over 33 years, (we're kinda old). We were scratching our cranii, to come up with a name; then Bill stared at me (with that stare, you know), and said: "Da, Dave, what do you say everyday 513 times?" I though of many inappropriate words and phrases, but the most common one was "Rock On." Then when we went to "Go Daddy(tm)" to register a fabulous web site - we discovered some band from India (there's a free plug for you guys) had already nabbed that one - so we added the word "Songs" (since we actually play them) to our name. Now you know the secret truth.
Do you play live?
Everything here is done live - anything else is just fake ("oh no, I don't want them to hear my mistakes") music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It got rid of the "leeches" that get between the musician and the audience. It means you can actually have people hear your stuff and not have to stay up most of the night playing at crappy bars.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, then they'd want us to make fake music. Real music has real mistakes, and it has character.
Band History:
I was in cover bands for 35 years before I figured out that 2 guy's playing original music, is more fun than 5 guys imitating other bands. We've been together for 9 years and counting.
Your influences?
All great - non boring 60's & 70's classic rock Bands. Back when the goal was to sound original rather than to imitate others.
Favorite spot?
Scranton!!!!
Equipment used:
Gibson SG, Eric Clapton Signature Strat, Yamaha Acoustic
Korg Trinity+, Roland EXR-3, Dr. Rhythm 880, Digitec Vocal Performer, Kustom 400 Pre-Amp Mixer (400 watts), Crown 660 Power Amp (1680 watts) - through 6 x 15" Mains + 2 x 18" Subs + 4 x (5"x15") Horns.

Anything else...?
You'll enjoy these quality, original tunes! And if you didn't; you wouldn't have read this far down the page - because you've already heard most of the first song (since it's on "auto-play") right?
Think about that, if you have a "reading challenge" maybe you're on the second or even third tune. Now, who would still be reading this (over worded and totally unnecessary rambling) if they didn't like what they were hearing? Of course no one would ever do that; unless their part of a rival band; attemping to steal the (highly subtle) secrets that make "Rock On Songs" the band we are today (that's right - today).

This is really great stuff, imho. You have a style all your own. The only thing that it even remotely reminds me of is a song or two by a band called Mighty Purple from CT. But it's different. Refreshingly so, imo. And so well done. Very inspiring.
And whoever is doing the singing ... wow, much respect and admiration. And, must admit, envy. Wish I could sing like that.
I'm so glad I found your music.

I really like this. Original and really well done. Great stuff, imho. This is a #1 song in some genre or other. I don't know. Just very cool music, insightful lyric and the singing just fits so well. This is pro stuff imo. Are you people pros? Excuse me but I don't listen to the radio any more and don't get out much.
I play organ, among other things, and I really like the organ stuff in this. The percussion, groove and vocals in this are just so good in this. Listening for the nth time.
Very impressed. Much respect.

Nice production. The hard way is the easier way usually. If the advice is wisdom why waste it.
