Leasing Rights: When leasing rights are purchased, you are able to release up to 2,000 copies of ONE commercial recording using the purchased beat. You may sell this recording for up to two years from the date of purchase. At this time new leasing rights or exclusive rights to the beat must be purchased. If another party purchases exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights will stand and you may continue using the beat. Credit must be given to Shmick, Shmick Music or http://www.shmickmusic.com/ wherever the song is used. You will receive a high quality untagged 320kbps MP3 file along with a signed contract in .pdf format within 48 hours of receiving the payment. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the seller still owns the beat and the seller is able to resell the beat to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.

Exclusive Rights: When exclusive rights are purchased the beat will no longer be sold to anyone else. Mechanical royalties will not be collected from sales of the recording, however performing rights royalties must be properly allocated. Shmick, Shmick Music, or http://www.shmickmusic.com/ must be credited on the release.
