Impakt came to me when I was pondering an identity for my music. The meaning behind it is that I look to make a difference, or an impact in whatever I am involved with. Whether it be playing a major role, organizing or simply helping with the little stuff, making an impact is important to me. I chose to put a k instead of the c in the name simple because conforming sucks. I like to be myself, originality is dope!

I have only performed twice. I look forward to pursuing more live performances.

Availability. A small artist can now get his music across the world, and whether they collect money or not, they have done what was not possible before, or required major coordinating efforts.

Sure, if the timing was right in my life. It would be a journey, an adventure that would be worth taking at least a few steps into.

Priceless and uncountable moments have been had in the last 12 years since I began making beats and producing songs. I began in the basement of my parents house, monopolizing my brothers music equipment whenever was possible.Having played piano (or forced to take lessons) when I was young, I really enjoy this part of making hip hop. My beatmaking slowly evolved from very basic drum machine (Dr Groove 303) beats, to multi layered musical mosaics. A good friend introduced me to sampling and what a world it is! Incorporating samples and live instruments has been and is very fulfilling right now.

I started to write lyrics about 8 years ago just for fun while other artists were preparing songs in the studio. This evolved to writing wherever I was... with a beat or not. Any time is now a good time. Much of what I write is somewhat similar to a personal diary of my soul and mind. My lyrics carry me and I simply love doing it. Alright :)
