Greetings. I'm a long time (and I mean LONG time) musician and music teacher, with a vast and varied career and past.
Dvorced, father of three young adults.
I've played in many, many, bands, in many, many different settings and styles, and find it a pain having to pin myself to one category here. However, I'll probably get over it.
Piano Lessons starting at age 6, after my parents figured out I really wanted to play. First guitar at age 12, just in time to learn some Beatles and Peter, Paul and Mary Songs. Progressed to very large amp rock by High School, just in time for Grand Funk and Who. On to college and some of the white boy soul of the early seventies, then the neo-country. Somewhere in there I had a formal music education as a voice major (?), and have kept up with various 'legit' pursuits. Next on to teaching and playing anything that would give me some money. Had a wife, three kids. These days the kids still visit. The ex-wife doesn't.
I play occasionally, teach all the time, do a couple interent radio shows, and also find myself from time to time on 'real' radio.DJ.
I don't play much of this stuff live, as it's all me, and it would be a radically changing band covering all the parts. I still go out with other folks and play my guitar, bass or piano.
Everything I've ever heard.
