"Depression is not sobbing and crying and giving vent, it is plain and simple reduction of feeling...People who keep stiff upper lips find that it's damn hard to smile."
Judith Guest

Ever had that feeling where you wake up, and wonder why? Yeah, I've had those days.

The recently created Famous Halos project is a break from my normal political/social commentary. This is where all those feelings pent up inside of my brain and heart are released into tracks of heart-wrenching metaphores of my life, past and present.

You'll hear songs about heart-break. You'll also hear songs about abuse, death, misanthropy, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts I used to have. I may have overcome some things in life, but the road holds plenty of bleakness and despair; this outlet is my therapy, my way of coping with the harshest lows of life.

You're more likely to hear influences from Joy Division and Apoptygma Berzerk over Marilyn Manson and Combichrist; more than likely, a few refrences to the Cure will replace tributes to Slayer; and you will probably hear more lyricism honoring Blutengle than Dismantled.

The great thing about free will is that you can turn off my music if it proves to be too disturbed for your tastes...that is understandable.

I'll keep writing for those who care to listen to my diary and try to understand the mind that I have.

Welcome to the mystical and darkened world of Famous Halos...your insanity awaits.
Why this name?
Actually, i just thought of something that sounded faux-positive with a darker meaning behind it.
Do you play live?
I play live with my other band, Homemade Abortion Kit, but I am also planning on live gigs with this project
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows artists like me a place to creatively vent, where as in the past, you'd be extremly lucky to get a show at all
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, under my terms
Band History:
I started this as a solo project to try and vent my deepest desires and feelings to the world in a poetic manner.
