I've started producing my own music and beats back in mid 2005 (after i got my hands on FL Studio Producer Edition). Although actually my musical interests began when i was young, this began when my grandmother bought my first radio for me. By then I was immersed by the various sounds and music genres from Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Country, and Rock; this gave me the option to choose my type of style respectively. Although from 1998 to 2002 i've favored hip-hop to almost near hardcore rap, i've always had a soft spot for techno, so it wasn't until 2003 when i signed up to yahoo's Launchcast (in class one day - shhh dont tell anyone) that i've gotten my first full taste of electronica, then came drum n' bass...this was like total EAR CANDY at the time. from that point on, the genre suited me just fine.

Also during the early 1990's (approximately 1992 to 1996) i've gained an interest to learn to the piano in the early 90's but that didnt go as well as i expected (which also attributed to the fact there was no way for me to take lessons).

today as a producer of sound and a DJ, im more into mixing it up with electronica, jungle/Drum & Bass, and House music after hearing music from artists such as DJ Shadow, DJ Cam and DJ Krush...and most importantly that of LTJ Bukem (one of my favorite DJs and producers of all time now)

"Soundz of Thought" (alternatively spelled out as "Sounds Of Thought") is the first name I used prior to taking on the "DJ Dark Shadow" name; which on some occasions i'll use for certain tracks i'll produce.

Currently as of July 2008, im now working with Platinum Sound & Media in downtown Macon.

And as of July 1, 2009, I became the resident DJ for Club Envy here in Downtown Macon.
