Ok, the band is me, Adam Taylor a.k.a. Adrenaline, Musashi Miyamoto, Ad the Wildcard.
Bringing you that underground UK hip hop, sometimes with a message, sometimes just for fun. Not interested in preaching to you, insulting you, boasting about my infinite skillz. I'm all about making music.
Why this name?
Good music always gets my Adrenaline going and that is the effect I hope my music will have on other peeps!
Do you play live?
Not yet... watch this space!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It definitely makes it easier for other people to hear your music but with so many artists online now who has the time to hear us all?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Being with a major label would obviously be a huge commercial advantage but only if I'm still able to make the music I want to make.
Band History:
I was born in 1985, I fell in love with music at a young age, teenage years were all about hip hop. I started writing my own rhymes a bit later. Joined Versus and made a lot of music with King Callabah, you can hear some of it at www.myspace.com/ultimateversushiphop.
I started producing my own beats for a bit more independence. Now I'm doing my own thing and still making those hard versus joints on the side.
Decided to set up this page recently just to get my music heard by some new ears and see what you think!
Your influences?
Production-wise I take inspiration from Marco Polo, Stoupe of Jedi Mind Tricks, The Bomb Squad, Snowgoons, Blue Sky Black Death and many more...
Among my favourite MCs are Reef the Lost Cauze, Mos Def, Apathy, Celph-Titled, Nas, Roots Manuva, Jehst, Inspectah Deck of Wu Tang, Big L, Pharoahe Monch, Eminem and the list goes on...
Favorite spot?
I've travelled all across Europe, Asia and the US but I have to say home is where the heart is... London is my spot.
Equipment used:
At the moment I'm producing with FL Studio and recording with an AT2020 USB mic. For writing rhymes you can't beat Word hehe, unless I'm on the train then it's a pen and paper...
Anything else...?
Check out my music! Honest feedback is appreciated, especially if you have any good tips for me. I'm new to this soundclick thing so any knowledge on it would be appreciated from you seasoned vets... Oh and I'll be updating the tunes on here pretty regularly so check back soon!
