Smokey J is my stage name and Hustla Status was really gonna be a clothing line me and my cousin Jamel were gonna come up with..then me and my cousin Moduz Operandi(Co-Ceo of Hustla Status Records) decided to use the name for our record label.

Havent since January but will be soon! I've done the Stones Throw, Boys and Girls Club, North High School, DeLong Middle School, Pheonix Park for the Juneteenth Celebrations..

It helps alot of people be heard so much easier.. but some artists is lazy and dont ever do shows, I know its not easy to always be ready for one but you gotta do shows!!!

Only something like a distribution deal..I will never want to be 100% under someone else's label.
