We are a pop/punk/emo band from Hudson Valley, NY. We play venues all around our area, and will be going on tour soon. We have one album released called "Regrets And Consequences". Anyway, thanks for checking us out.
Why this name?
Not really a story behind the name...kind of just stumbled upon it.
Do you play live?
Yes we play live, all over our area. We love it. Our special moment was, just like many other bands, our first live show, and of course when we were offered a record deal from the most major independent record label in the US (statue records)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well the internet makes the music industry a lot better, by promoting unsigned bands. The chances of making it big these days is slim, but we are so focused that we dont just want it...we need it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
definitely! We disagree with alot of the bands out there who say that major labels water down music and change it, but thats only true if you LET that happen. If we get offered a deal where our music stays the way we want it, then DEFINITELY.
Band History:
Our line-up was always shaky. We now have a steady lineup. The hardest part was choosing our style. We went through a lot of differnt styles, but we realize that we DON'T like labels, but a lot of people consider us either pop punk, or emo. We WILL make it big you can say "yeah every band says that" But we are well on our way as it is now, so look for us soon.
Your influences?
We are influenced by many. Guitars wise it is Eddie Van Halen. Drums is probably Alex Van Halen, or Eric Carr, or especially...Neil Pert. Singing influences come from all genres, and band influences are Blink-182, The Early November, Senses Fail, New Found Glory, Boxcar Racer, and more bands like that.
Favorite spot?
well, we plan to move to San Diego as soon as we can...
Equipment used:
We use pretty good stuff. Our lead guitarist uses a Gibson SG Deluxe edition, but also has a standard fender stratocastor. He uses a Full marshall stack. Our Second guitarist uses a Ibanez Musician Special with aged pickups. He uses a Fender deluxe reverb amp. Our bassist uses a custom ESP/ltd black bass, and a Hartke bass stack. Our Drummer uses a Pearl Double bass drum export set. You really cant get much better equipment than that.
Anything else...?
Thanks for checking us out, if it wasn't for you guys who listen to us, we wouldn't even be a band, so Thank you, you know who you are.
