Combining haunting and sometimes twisted lyrics, with a heavy rock sound, a dash of melting Chuck Dietz's shredding, and bone crushing beats from Curt Cirillo, takes Circle7 to a new level, and allows these guys to put on one hell of a live show.

Circle7 has been together since April of 2009, and while there have been a few member changes (some bitter, some not so bitter), the band's focus has never changed. They remain focused and driven.

Circle7's sound is beat driven, blended with melodic undertones, and killer guitars.

They have released their first CD which is a 6 song EP titled, "Unplugged & Unattached" while they focus on their live shows and recording their first full debut album
Why this name?
Ya know, we get asked this a lot. Circle7 isn't exactly a name that tells a straight forward story. The truth is, we decided on Circle7 because we needed a name. We wanted something catchy and random, and Circle7 just stuck. While we could come up with a multitude of stories to cover what the name means, why we chose it, etc the truth is, there isn't much of a story behind it.
Do you play live?
We do play live, but haven't really had a chance to do so recently because we're busy recording our first album. I'm sure there will be a ton of memorable moments, and I'm sure we'll be keeping everyone updated here, myspace, and our official website (when it's done)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet adds a dynamic to the music industry that removes the corporate decision to release what THEY think is popular. A lot of good music was put on the shelf, or tossed in the trash because it had to first pass through A&R, producers, etc before anyone else really got to hear it.

The internet has changed that, and now bands can get their music heard by the world without too too much effort. It's an amazing thing.

I know a lot of bands have problems with it because it also allows people to get their music free in some cases, but before hating the internet for it, consider that networked promotion is a beautiful thing. It's all about getting your music heard. Without that there is no fame, and really no reason for doing what we do.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well of course. We currently have a digital distribution arrangement with Record Union, but would love to sign with a major record label.
Band History:
We're still making it.
Your influences?
Wow, this is tough, because there are a lot, and they are all very diverse. I'd like to come back to this one, when I have more time someday to answer it lol.

You can count a few immediate ones in though, such as Staind, Linkin Park, Theory of a Deadman, Seether, and some older stuff like GnR, the Crue, Metallica, etc
Favorite spot?
Pittsburgh baby!
Equipment used:
Mark uses Fender guitars and Roland gear. Mike uses Ibanez guitars and Roland gear. Dustin plays an Ibanez and Roland gear, and Curt plays early 60's Ludwig Super Classics, but plans on playing his own line MFD in the near future.
Anything else...?
Make sure to check out the new album when it's released. We can't wait to see everyone either.
