Band History:
Picture this: you are an adolescent who discovered you had a knack for rhyming and free styling at an early age. You then begin battle rapping in the school lunchroom and ciphering with friends on the block and everybody you know thinks you should be in the studio making records. Well you are in luck because your uncle is best friends with a hot local rapper and his producer who has connections to studios and a label. Then said rapper and his producer take you under their wing by placing you on a few of their tracks to get you a local buzz started, do tons of shows and begins grooming you to the ways of the music industry from the ground up. Even have you appear on the rapper’s national debut album. Now doesn’t that sound like the opportunity of a lifetime?

That’s exactly what happened for B. Tha B-Boy, (real name: William Morris). Thanks to his Uncle Richard the young next generation lyricist representing the DMV area (for those of you who don’t know, the DMV stands for Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia) got a deal with rapper Black Sun’s Blakline Cinema Music production company and the independent powerhouse label Ruff Rhyme Records.
