Cosmic Flounder is a North Carolina band from the Statesville area. The members' musical backgrounds range from Bluegrass and Hard Blues to Jazz Improvisation and Counterpoint Composition. For the last year, Cosmic Flounder has been performing in the Statesville, Hickory, Salisbury, and Charlotte area playing a wide variety of high energy classic rock tunes as well as an eclectic group of original songs. The band has earned a strong following in their hometown which has gained them the opportunity to open for acts such as Cravin Melon, The Blue Rags, and Drivin & Cryin. Equipped with a mix of great songs, extemporaneous jams, and a reggae version of Freebird, Cosmic Flounder continues to perform and is coming soon to an establishment near you.
