"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." -Ghandi
Hi, welcome to my page. I'm a guitarist, fretless bassist, drummer, percussionist from south of Pittsburgh. I also play an Afghan rebab, Native American flute, Bolivian ronrocco, low D penny-whistle, and sing from time to time. I've been playing music since I was a kid. It's my passion and my life. I currently teach guitar and bass out of my home studio and at Mon Valley music store in Monongahela.
I am currently playing with a musical project called DOMA (Sanskrit for male street musician) with Bill Teck and Jason Cursi. We are playing original music and various thematic content with a heavy world fusion feel. So far I'm posting lo-fi one take jams to let some folks hear the sound. If you know any places that would like to have us play please let me know. Also if you know any bellydancers that would be into doing something a little bit different, again please let me know. Lastly by all means check out the newly added video section.
I have other interests as well. I am practicing Reiki (3), Reflexology and other healing modalities. I feel music and healing go hand in hand. I love to read, especially books dealing with spirituality, philosophy, eastern thought, shamanism, science, quantum field theory, whatever. As long as I am learning something it's all good. I love to study all the different viewpoints and see that they are usually all right in essence. I would love to hear your opinion, drop me a line sometime. I like to meditate. I like to work out. I lovelovelove ice cream. I study martial arts. I have been blessed in all these endeavors with great teachers and mentors all around.
There is a drum circle going on now at the Mon Valley YMCA. We're going to be doing this on a monthy basis so if you're in the Mon Valley and want to do a drum circle with us be sure to drop me a line and I'll give you the details.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm either totally open and influenced by everything I experience or like a rock and oblivious to the world. Depends on my mood, I guess.
