I am an artist who has finally found some direction for my passion by exploring the true talent of the artists that have shaped our music history.

These are very rough first draft recordings that need a lot of polishing in all areas: vocals, guitar, timing, recording etc...

This sight is such a useful tool in keeping some of the songwriting steps organized. It is very helpful in that way and that is why such early drafts get posted...it helps with the songwriting process and for that I am thankful.
Why this name?
Quite frankly, my married name happens to give me a better performer name, so I am happy with that! Sorry Dad...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has given me all the tools I need to explore on this journey. It is quite amazing to have the resources we do at our fingertips...although I have a deep feeling of sadness for what has been lost and complete respect for the artists that have sculpted our music history and put the raw hard work into it, before all of this technology...
Your influences?
Everything, although, I am not yet skilled enough to make a conscious decision about it. I just play around and what happens, happens...I could not survive without the Everly Brothers or Mr. Cash. The Avett Brothers and Paul McCartney have been my most recent inspiration and other SoundClick friends...
Favorite spot?
I love the Gorge in Eastern Washington State. A very powerful place meant for music... The Bothell Ampitheater my dad was part of building...(Blake Lewis from American Idol played there. Lol.)
Equipment used:
My brand spankin' new Parker PA28 - LUV IT!, 1960's Harmony Tenor Guitar (Birddog - thank you Annie Lockwood! BD was the key!), 1958 National Guitar (Carl Lee - thank you so much Uncle Ralph for the family heirloom!), Vineyard Classical Guitar (Ike), Presonus TUBEPRe, Presonus AudioBox USB, MXL 900, Cubase
Anything else...?
I have also had tremendous support from my family, husband, friends, co-workers and YouTube, Facebook and SoundClick friends that continues to give me drive. My sweet son and niece also inspire me, reminding me to strive to enjoy the simple things in life...music heals and brings people together...let's see what happens...
