How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Basically, it can go good or bad: the good being that you won't have to go out to the store and pick up the whole cd if you want just a few songs from it. The bad being there's a whole lot of illegal downloading sites (i.e. Limewire) and chances are you'll have to pay a big fine if you get caught downloading copyrighted videos or anything similar, and that's one of the reasons that major companies use to make the point that record sales have dropped and their income has taken a big hit as well. It also seems like nobody buys full albums anymore. For example, with iTunes and Amazon MP3, a lot of people can just pick a few songs from certain albums, since the quality of music has dropped considerably since the Marvin Gaye/ Michael Jackson days. The internet can be good in terms of a different way to reach the people, but song leaks are a huge problem as well.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If possible; depends on how everything else goes and if I can make music the way I want to make it, not that pop-oriented junk that's always getting heavy rotation on the radio

Anything else...?
My production style is mainly aimed towards an underground audience. I make music that's meant for artists who don't have catchy hooks as their main priority in hip-hop. I'm looking for artists who want to send more positive messages- messages that make you want to listen to the lyrics instead of worrying about just the beat itself, and I personally feel that the non pop-oriented hip-hop music definitely needs to start getting the respect it deserves, and get the respect it had when it was created
